Vangelis holds an MSc in Safety Management. He is the founder and Managing Director of Kratis Training and Consulting Ltd works in partnership with the University of Dublin in various research projects. Prior to establishing Kratis he had worked for 18 years as a supervisor and a licensed aircraft engineer for Cyprus Airways. He is a member of the EASA Human Factors Advisory Group. He has worked in the development of the current EASA human factors and SMS requirements. He has for many years been active in Aircraft Engineers International. He also served as a member of the executive board of Flight Safety Foundation Mediterranean.
Andreas Hadjinicolaou is a Senior Consultant and Instructor/Facilitator for Kratis Training and Consulting Ltd since 2010. He is a holder of a UK HND in Personnel Management and of a Nebosh Health and Safety Certificate. He served as Head of the Cyprus Airways Flight Operations Safety Training Section for twenty years. He also served as Safety Training Manager for Freedom Air (Cyprus) and for Hellas jet (Greece). In his thirty years of Aviation training experience, he became a qualified and accredited Instructor for Crew Resource Management (CRMI) as well as for First Aid, for Aviation Security, for Human Factors, for Safety Management Systems (SMS) and for Safety Equipment and Procedures (SEP) conversion training for Airbus & Boeing aircraft.
Solonas comes from a Psychology based background with a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Organisational and Work Psychology. He also practices psychotherapy on a part time basis with a main focus on areas like stress, phobias and anxiety. Worked in the past as a researcher for Trinity College in Dublin and the Aerospace Psychology Research Group, but now he is specialized in areas like Emotional Intelligence in the workplace, Dealing with cultures and Team Dynamics.
Andreas comes from a Business / Management based background with an MBA in International Business, a BA in Marketing Management and a Diploma in Computer Science. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the Aviation Industry (Airline, Airport and Aviation Consulting). He held in the past several Managerial positions and key roles in the Airport Business such as Operations, Planning & Control Manager, Crisis Response Manager, Operations Centre Manager, Airport Duty Manager etc. and has been an active member of the ORAT teams tasked with the opening of Larnaka and Pafos International Airports. Has been a project leader for the design, development and implementation of various Airport Projects and was the developer of a vast number of Airport documents including Policies, MOUs, SOPs, Plans and Manuals.
